The stomach balloon procedure is a new weight loss option that aims to reduce the amount eaten at a meal and increase the feeling of being fuller longer after eating only small meals. Patients will receive support from our bariatric team of experts, including surgeons, nurses, and nutrition counseling. These experts will also continue to work with a patient after a balloon is removed at six months, for a total of 12 months. The stomach balloon is designed to be a weight-loss tool that helps jumpstart your weight loss journey, with the balloon removal occurring after six months.

Who Qualifies for the Stomach Balloon Procedure?
- Men and Women 18 years of age or older
- Have a body mass index (BMI) of 30 to 40; a higher or lower BMI may also qualify
